Veo casting not working? Fixes and another way
Updated October 12, 2026
Casting sends the video from the app on your phone to the TV over Wi-Fi. When it fails, the cause is usually the network or the devices, not the match.
The cast button is missing or the TV is not found
- Put the phone and the TV on the same Wi-Fi network. A guest network often blocks casting.
- Turn off VPN on the phone.
- Check that the TV or the Chromecast is switched on and on the right HDMI input.
- Restart the phone, the TV and the router.
- Update the Veo app and the TV software.
The match stutters or stops
- The Wi-Fi signal is weak near the TV. Move the router closer, or connect the TV with a network cable.
- Battery saver on the phone can stop the stream. Turn it off and keep the phone charging.
- Many devices using the network at the same time slow it down.
Watch without casting
Football Match TV is an app on the TV itself. The TV loads the match directly from the internet, and the phone is only used to send the link. The phone is then free, and the match does not stop when it rings.
It works with matches that are shared publicly on Veo. It is available for Android TV and Google TV. Samsung and LG are coming.

Questions
Why does the match play on the phone but not on the TV?
Casting needs the phone and the TV to find each other on the network. If they are on different networks or a guest network, the TV is not found even when the internet works.
