How to watch Veo matches on your TV

Many clubs record their matches with a Veo camera and share them with a link. On a phone the match is small. These are the ways to get it on the living-room TV, and what each one needs.
1. Cast from the Veo app
Veo's help pages describe casting a live stream from the Veo app to a TV with Chromecast built in. The phone and the TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
The video goes over Wi-Fi from the phone to the TV, so a weak network shows as stuttering, and the phone has to stay nearby.
2. AirPlay from an iPhone or iPad
Many Samsung TVs from 2018 and LG TVs from 2019 onward support AirPlay 2, as does an Apple TV box. You can mirror the iPhone screen to the TV.
The phone screen has to stay on during the whole match, and messages that arrive can show on the TV.
3. A laptop and an HDMI cable
Open the match link in a browser on a laptop, connect the laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable and play the match in full screen.
This works reliably, but you need a long enough cable and the laptop next to the TV.
4. A TV app: Football Match TV
Football Match TV is an app on the TV itself. The TV loads the video directly, so the phone is only used to send the link. No casting and no cables.

- Scan the code with your phone and sign in with your email. No password needed.
- Copy the share link of the match in Veo and paste it on your phone. The match starts on the TV in a few seconds.
Which one should I choose?
- A live match once in a while: casting from the Veo app.
- An iPhone and a newer Samsung or LG TV: AirPlay.
- Recorded matches often, with goals one click away: Football Match TV.
