Football Match TV lets you play football matches that are shared publicly on Veo on your TV. This policy explains what we store about you, why, and how you can remove it.
Who we are
The controller is HD SofT Oy (Business ID 3318598-8), Koivikkotie 6, 02880 Veikkola, Finland. Contact: support@hdsoft.fi. Football Match TV is not affiliated with Veo Technologies.
What we store
- Email address, to sign you in with a link and to identify your account. We also store your language, the country your sign-up came from (from your connection, not your exact location) and when you last signed in.
- Your TVs. A hashed (one-way) version of the TV's hardware identifier, never the identifier itself. We also store the TV platform, model, operating system and app version, and when the TV was last in use. The identifier lets us count free matches per TV, so a new email on the same TV does not give new free matches.
- Matches opened and when, per account and per TV. This is how free matches are counted and why watching a match again is free.
- Invitations. Who invited whom with a share link, whether the invitation was rewarded, and the history of your extra matches. On your account page you see the people you invited only by a masked email address.
- Veo sign-in key for live matches, only if you connect your Veo account. Your Veo password goes to Veo once to get a sign-in key. We store only that key, encrypted. We never store your Veo password. You can remove the key at any time on your account page.
- PayPal subscription ID and plan, if you subscribe. Your card and bank details stay at PayPal; we never see them.
- Technical logs of errors and of sign-in and code attempts, to keep the service secure and working.
Watch history on the TV (which matches you watched and where you stopped) stays on the TV itself. It is not sent to us.
Why we use it
- To provide the service: sign-in, linking TVs, sending matches to your TV, counting free matches.
- To handle subscriptions and payments.
- To prevent abuse of free matches and invitation rewards.
- To understand how the service is used as a whole (for example how many TVs get linked), and to fix errors.
The legal basis is the contract with you (providing the service you asked for) and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and preventing abuse. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

When you send a match, our server fetches the public match details from Veo. When you watch, your TV loads the video directly from Veo's video service.
Cookies and website statistics
This website uses Google Analytics to count visitors and to see which pages and links bring them here. It sets cookies only if you choose "Allow" in the cookie notice. If you decline or do not choose, no analytics cookies are stored; Google may still receive basic page-load signals without cookies or identifiers, which it uses only for aggregated estimates. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. The analytics data is not connected to your account, and the TV apps do not use Google Analytics.
Sign-in on this website uses your browser's local storage, not cookies. It is needed for the service to work and needs no consent.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your email address, invitations, extra match history, Veo sign-in key and subscription details are deleted. The TV records and the list of matches opened on each TV remain without any link to you, so that the monthly free matches of a TV cannot be reset by deleting an account.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its use. Write to support@hdsoft.fi. You can delete your account yourself on the account page. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
